I currently teach avalanche courses for The Mountain Guides Montana, The Patrol Fund, and Whitefish Vertical based out of Whitefish, Montana. I have an extensive background in education that started with receiving my Bachelors in Chemistry Education in 2017 and started teaching avalanche courses with Friends of the Flathead Avalanche Center in 2021. In addition to avalanche education, I instruct wilderness medicine with Aerie Backcountry Medicine out of Missoula, MT, work as a Fireline EMT, and an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor. I love taking what I learned in formal education while receiving my degree to teach high school and apply it to the outdoors to create an engaging and exciting learning environment for students of all abilities.
