I work year round as a mountain guide and instructor based in Bellingham Washington. For the past 6 winters I've worked as and AIARE instructor, teaching Rec L1, L2 and rescue courses with Baker Mountain Guides. Teaching the AIARE curriculum to our growing community of backcountry skiers and riders is one of the most rewarding components of my work as a guide. I love traveling through the mountains, especially on skis. On AIARE courses I get to share my passion for winter backcountry travel with motivated and excited groups of people who are eager to gain the knowledge.
