Based out of Durango now,I worked for Outward Bound for 5 years before moving towards full time guiding. I know have a year round job in Durango managing a commercial composting facility that allows me to guide and teach for San Juan Expeditions as well as guide a trip on Denali each year. I love teaching because it allows me to get out of the guide role which is easy to fall into and pushes me to become a better communicator.
