Have been teaching since 1993. Taught avalanche classes using custom Utah Avalanche Center curriculum created by Bruce Tremper (somewhat modified for the La Sal Mountains in S.Utah. Lead instructor for Alta Community Enrichment (ACE) teaching 1-2 avalanche classes per year for local Alta employees while working as an Avi Forecaster in Alta 1996 - 2001. Returned to the La Sal avalanche center Full-time in 2004 and began teaching AIARE classes in southern Utah. Usually 3-4 classes per year. Became an AIARE instructor in 2006. Taught L1 classes and awareness classes for Southern Utah Backcountry skiers and riders, local snowmobile clubs and San Juan and Grand county search and rescue teams. Currently teaching Avalanche Classes for the North American Ski Training Center (NASTC) and Blackbird Mountain Guide in the Lake Tahoe Area.
