Bio:

Andy is based between Southcentral Alaska and Lake Tahoe, California. He has been an avalanche educator since 2019 and an AIARE instructor since 2022. With experience in a variety of snowpacks, he is a passionate avalanche educator and is always psyched to support students and guests on their winter learning journeys. He currently works as an assistant forecast at the Hatcher Pass Avalanche Center in Palmer, AK. On his off time, he enjoys salmon fishing and volunteering for local avalanche centers and nonprofits.
