Bio:

Cal has been a Ski Patroller since 2017, is an EMT, and backcountry guide/instructor. They are an avid backcountry split boarder and can be found mostly touring around the Central Cascades, Washington, and California. They instruct with Wilderness Medical Associates (WMA) and are also an Outward Bound educator and medical screener. Cal loves the backcountry as a teaching tool and their experience as an instructor and EMT often lend towards thinking about effective risk management. Their husky mix sidekick, Dewey can be found in the snow almost as much as Cal.
