Brooke is a Colorado local who grew up skiing, climbing, and galavanting around the mountains of her hometown, Crested Butte. She has skied in venues in Washington, Alaska, Utah, California, and Chile, but loves the challenge of navigating the complex lingering avalanche problems in the Continental Snowpack in Colorado.
Brooke started guiding full time in 2019 after working in outdoor education through college and beyond. She loves introducing techniques and to new skiers and climbers, helping people develop their mountain craft with larger goals in mind, and making connections between outdoor sports and decision-making in the real world.
Fun Fact: Brooke is also a dancer and used to teach Argentine Tango. Her latest dance endeavor is learning aerial silks!
