Instructor Bio

I teach for Outdoor Adventure Club and Feather River College. When I am not teaching I own and operate a sewage and dewatering pump company, Peninsula Pump and Equipment. I like teaching because its a process that empowered me to take on a new approach to living and pursuing my adventures and I love sharing that with people. Teaching people the fundamental process of the AIARE framework for backcountry travel and intentional learning is my favorite thing to do because I believe in the process and we (Outdoor Adventure Club) think it allows for and creates fun trips that improve over time and result in great outcomes.
