Bio:

Max brings a deep scientific understanding of the mountains to his guiding, having studied paleoclimatology at university and published a peer-reviewed paper on the stability of the East Antarctic Ice Sheet. He is the owner and operator of his AMGA-accredited guide service, Alpine to the Max, and an instructor of professional-level avalanche courses for Silverton Avalanche School. Max also contributes to the guiding community as a current AMGA board member.
