What is better than a day in the backountry? My passion for being \\\"out there\\\" is what drives me to teach. I want my students to gain the necessary knowledge and confidence to enjoy the backcountry on their own. The past few winters I have been coaching high school kids in a backcountry program, getting the next generation ready to be conscientious backountry travelers. I love days out with adult groups as well. Also I just cant get enough of digging in the snow and studding the science and weather.
