Instructor Bio

I teach AIARE Classes for Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, CO where I worked for Steamboat Ski Patrol for 6 seasons. Currently, I am employed at Eagle County Paramedics Service and provide 911 ambulance services for Eagle County. My favorite thing about teaching courses is the opportunity to see things click for students studying snow science. When they are able to witness a failure in a pit and connect that with how avalanches form and behave under a load is a really special experience. Its always cool to have the opportunity to get good feedback from a snowpack so students can connect the dots in a controlled environment.
