Bio:

I have been an AIARE Instructor since 2023-2024 season. I have taught in various roles and disciplines since 2008. I currently teach AIARE courses with Bondi Outdoor Leadership (Front Range Colorado). I am also a certified National Ski Patrol Avalanche instructor and volunteer as part of Diamond Peaks Backcountry Ski Patrol (Cameron Pass, Colorado). I love teaching in the avalanche world because it allows me to pursue my passion of education outside of my day job as an environmental scientist. I appreciate the ongoing education I receive, which enhances my expertise not only through AIARE but also through engaging with students and learning from their varied experiences.
