Teaching provides me an opportunity to give back to the backcountry community, it keeps my own skills and knowledge sharp, and I love helping others feel empowered to make decisions based on their own experience and individual risk tolerance. Getting rad in the backcountry can absolutely include mellow tours that end at happy hour. When not teaching and guiding on snow I have a career as an Equine Chiropractor working with performance horses throughout Colorado. I am based in Crested Butte Colorado.
