Tammy VuPham (she/they) is a Southerner-turned-skier who teaches and guides across the Mountain West. After completing a graduate degree in Human Factors, she moved to Washington state and discovered snow for the first time. Integral to Tammy’s career as an instructor is promoting inclusion-focused programming, working with partners such as SheJumps, Women of Winter, Outdoor Asian, EDGE Outdoors, Open Slopes PDX, and The Bronze Chapter. She aims to foster the next generation of educators, guides, and researchers who promote sustainable land use and culturally relevant practices in backcountry travel.
