In addition to guiding clients, Jeff trains guides for the American guide program; he’s taught avalanche courses to British IFMGA certified guides; and he trains the U.S. Special Forces Mountain Unit. As a former national champion in ski mountaineering racing, Jeff has coached multiple Olympic athletes—and complete beginners alike.

Jeff speaks a multitude of languages and has personal relationships with many hut guardians in the Alps, which enables his guests to have richer cultural experiences—but no matter which country Jeff’s guiding in, he delivers American-style customer service to his guests. Think of him as a personal alpine facilitator; and leverage his decade-plus of guiding experience, world-class teaching skills, and local knowledge and language skills to get the most out of your trip.
