Madeline grew up in Michigan's lower peninsula. Learning to ski race at such a young age, Madeline is as comfortable on skis as she is on her own two bare feet. After graduating from college at U of M Ann Arbor, where she was captain of the ski team, Madeline spent the next 4 years traveling the globe skiing 8 consecutive seasons between Utah, Colorado, Argentina, Chile, Alaska, California, Oregon, and Washington. Madeline has summited and skied nearly all the Cascade Range Volcanoes across the west coast of the lower 48 and has competed in 3 Red Bull Freeride competitions between North and South America. When she worked for Snowbird Ski Patrol on Trail Crew, she carried her explosive's handling permit and assisted in avalanche control routes. Madeline has been an avalanche instructor since 2016 teaching AIARE courses since 2018. She currently holds her Pro 1 and is applying to take her Pro 2 in 2023.
