Bio:

I have been teaching AIARE courses for almost 10 seasons and enjoy all of them. The opportunity to share a systematic way to manage avalanche risk with students while enjoying the winter backcountry is one of my favorite things. I work as a faculty member at Sierra Nevada University in the Outdoor Adventure Leadership Program, as well as guiding and teaching for the Sierra Avalanche Center, Tahoe Mountain School and Blackbird Mountain Guides.
