Cord Farmer

I've spent most my life coaching and teaching sports and just now entering the world of avalanche education. I love being surrounded by people who are passionate about whatever it is they are into and really enjoy finding creative ways to explain, connect and resonate ideas with students. Teaching Avalanche education allows me to do just that and help safely build the stoke for my favorite thing in the world . . . the mountains in winter. I currently work with Acadia Mountain Guides outta Bar Harbor, Maine and hope to expand my provider list I teach for in the coming years.

Outside of skiing and avalanche education, I'm a former 20 year collegiate soccer coach and currently work with Dartmouth College's Outdoor Programs Office managing their 20+ cabins and trail system. I'm a hardened Arsenal FC supporter, husband, father of 4, doggie dad to Cascade and Sadie, cider brewer, water skier, golfer, trail runner and builder of all things in my free time.
